My very dear friend Michael Perez, who walked out of the Inquirer building today after 10 plus years and many memorable pictures, shot this photo of the World Series trophy after the Phillies victory this year. Michael and my other laid off colleagues at the Inquirer are the ones who should be celebrated for their dedication in bringing the world to our doorsteps. Our knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the world would be diminished without their tireless efforts. Thanks so much!
